Our polo day catering at The Sussex Polo Club, near Crawley was a big success on Sunday despite the monsoon downpour at the end!  Guests enjoyed pork belly, apple mash, seasonal vegetables and jus to start, followed by a tower of desserts!

Over 200 guests descended down country lanes to get to the little oasis of calm in the Sussex countryside for a day of polo, food, drink, good company and amazing English bank holiday weather. 

Our younger little limes enjoyed a bouncy castle, activity packs and unlimited fruit presses before sausages and Carolines Dairy Ice cream pots.  Special guests included children and families from our chosen charity Dreams Come True.  Katie, one of the special guests presented the prizes and trophy to the winning polo team.

The new event and caterering trend we have developed this summer for a tiered stand of desserts included new additions and old Lime favourites – Chocolate Brownie; Belgium Chocolate Mousse; Lime Posset; Orange and Thyme Creme Brulee; Earl Grey Creme Brulee.  Yum!!

The weather was fairly kind, but a special thank you to those who stayed to the end through the monsoon downpour!  Well done you! 

The best news from the day was that the Lime polo team won!  Thank you to all that came along and got into the spirit of the day.  Looking forward to next year..
