Lime were proud to cater at Cred Jewellers in Chichester to promote their innovative launch of beautiful, luxurious and fantastically designed FAIRTRADE and FAIRMINED gold. In the past there has been no fairtrade mark for gold, but now all of Cred’s gold and platinum jewellery will have a Fairtrade hallmark alongside the standard ones. LFD were chosen to cater for the local journalists because of our ‘green’ approach to all of our food ideas, recipes and ingredients, we use fairtrade products wherever possible. Read More
St Katherine’s Docks is centrally located between Tower Bridge and London Bridge and is an amazing place hidden in the heart of London. With stunning yachts, boutique shopping and lavish surroundings Lime couldn’t wait to serve one hundred guests canapés and bowl food to mark the launching of the Passion fruit Ship with hibiscus champagne. Shoes were on our mind when we catered for a networking event in central London. With champagne flowing, shoe-shaped cupcakes and enough shoes to keep the average shop-a-holic happy, this luxurious event was a joy to work!
Weddings, catering and design, they all go hand in hand and it is essential that they all compliment each other.
It always excites me when someone creates a new look, be it colour scheme, table decoration or name place, especially when Lime can then use thier creative juices and come up some ideas to tailor the catering on and off the plate.
This bride had a colour scheme of navy blue and bright pink, it sounds quite bright but worked brilliantly in the reception barn. Inidan touches such as blue and pink elephants as name places and the girls favours were bright metal bangles. It really had the wow factor…

This weekend Lime catered for a lovely couple at Batholomew Barns and amongst the guests were the brides family from Denmark. The catering was particularly British including a yummy selection of canapes such as our fantastic mini fish and chips, followed by a succulent Hog Roast with salads and hot sides and then a couple of tasty desserts including our amazing malted barley ice cream (tasting required!)
The Danes however left their mark with a fabulous Danish wedding cake, featured here by Guy who assembled the tower. A Danish song, favours of lego men as well as plenty of Aquavit left a fun and unique memory of the day.

When picking a starter, many people glance over the soups as they think, that when catering for a party or wedding, soup just isn’t special enough. We recently catered for a wedding at The Walled Gardens, Cowdry, Midhurst and the starter was a fabulous trio of soups. Catering for all tastes on offer was a cold, spicy Gazpacho a warming Roasted butternut squash and a funky Pea soup with a coconut froth. All lovingly topped and nestled on a vintage style plate with a dainty flower it was certainly anything but dull.
